Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and negotiation-savvy Sourcing and Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of tinplate materials for our operations. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with the capability to build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships. Experience with ERP systems and e-bidding/RFQ tools is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
•   Organize and manage bidding activities via procurement platforms, including the preparation of Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluation of offers, and collection of cost information in the market
•   Source and qualify potential suppliers, evaluation of their capabilities
•   Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, pricing & terms, overseeing claims, steering R&D projects
•   Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs and specifications
•   Oversee the preparation and execution of purchase orders
•   Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function
•   Maintain accurate procurement records, analyzing procurement performance and reporting key metrics to senior management
•   Develop Market Intelligence, provide insights on supplier capabilities, competition, and trends

Key Requirements
•   Able to work autonomously, a self-starter who is proactive and results-oriented
•   Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize effectively
•   Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive decision-making. Able to speak with data and problem solve
•   Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable to clearly convey ideas to both internal and external stakeholders
•   Proven ability to successfully operate cross-functionally
•   Strong cross-cultural awareness, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and suppliers from different regions
•   Flexible, adaptable, and open to change and new challenges
•   Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, etc.)
•   Fluent in English, fluency in Spanish a strong advantage
•   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
•   3+ years of experience in international procurement or sourcing management
