About the role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to support improvements within Supply Chain and Production Planning. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective, technology-enabled solutions.

A key part of the role will involve working closely with planning and supply chain teams to optimise resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Familiarity with SAP, IBP, and other ERP systems is essential, as is a passion for continuous improvement and practical application of technology in business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyse data to identify stakeholder needs and uncover insights to improve Supply Chain and Planning processes.
  • Define and document new or enhanced business processes, acting as an advisor on best practices within supply chain and planning.
  • Ensure consistency and standardisation in future-state processes.
  • Support the development of business cases, diagnostics, and project plans to enable informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of process improvements, including training and change management activities.
  • Participate in meetings and workshops with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful, on-time project delivery.
  • Elicit business requirements and define business value through interviews and stakeholder engagement.
  • Create and maintain clear, structured documentation such as process maps, solution designs, and training materials.
  • Assist project managers with implementation activities, risk assessments, and progress monitoring.
  • Support future application implementation initiatives, including data transformation preparation.
  • Perform system testing and train end users on updated procedures and systems.

Key Skills

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or experience in Supply Chain and Production Planning with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with SAP and planning tools integrated into ERP systems.
  • Interest in software technologies and a desire to apply them in practical business contexts.
  • Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including process mapping and risk identification.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global team and independently take initiative when needed.
  • Comfortable adapting to shifting project priorities and requirements.
  • Confident working with stakeholders across all organisational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Power Query, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with multiple demands.

 

Desirable

  • Business knowledge in Supply Chain and/or Planning.
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master.
  • Willingness to travel.
