About This Opportunity

We are looking for a GL Deputy Manager Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Murcia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting within a multinational environment, with experience in internal controls execution. This role will report to the General Ledger Manager and will require close collaboration to ensure smooth financial operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements in compliance with Group Accounting Policies (USGAAP) and statutory.
• Execute internal controls in accordance with the control matrix defined by the group and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
• Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the footnotes.
• Handle the preparation and filing of tax declarations.
• Keep the General Ledger Manager informed of any issues or discrepancies found during the execution of financial activities or internal controls, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

We’d Love To Hear From You If

-            Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

-            At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting and/or working at a Big4.

-            Knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory accounting (Plan General Contable).

-            Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment.

-            ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting software.

-            Advanced Excel skills.

-            Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

-            Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-            Fluent English (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with global teams.
