Mission

We are now looking for a Technical Specialist to our Plant in Alcochete, Portugal.

The Technical specialist will be responsible for providing technical support in the repair. acquisition and optimization of manufactoring equipment and product standards, working closely with the production team to ensure efficient operations, minimal downtime and compliance with safety and quality standards.

What you will do

Project Management in Alcochete Plant
Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery and equiment promptly and effectively
Support Production: work closely with the prouction team to improve plant results, minimizing equipment downtime and ensure smooth operations
Installation: assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery
Safety compliance: follow all safety regulations and guidelines to mantain a safe working environment
Quality: adhere to quality control measures to ensure compliance with food safety and industry standards
Documentation: mantain accurate records of technical activities and inspections
Product standards: ERP creation of product standards
Continuous improvement: participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufactoring processes abd equipment performance

Background and knowledge

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related field
Safety focus: commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
Technical expertise: strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems
Experience: minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal packaging or food processing
Continuous Improvement: experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Sigma or similar
Project Management: effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
SAP management: utiliza SAP with production data
Availability to travel
