Mission

We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our EOE & 2PC team at our Plant in Alcochete. This person will be responsible for analyzing and improving the department's manufactoring processes in order to achieve the Plant's objectives.

What you will do

The selected candidate will have the following main tasks:

Analysis of sources of waste in production lines, development and implementation of action plans with the aim of reducing them;

Analysis of efficiency losses in production lines, development and implementatio of action plans with the aim of improving them;

Creation of cleaning and maintenance plans for production lines;

Creation of work inctructions, operating procedures and visual aids;

Creation of action plans within the scope of Safety and BRC;

Analysis of problems reported by Customers (internal and external), development and implementation of action plans with the aim of eliminating them;

Monitoring of Production Orders in progress on production lies;

Complying with and enforcing safety and environmental rules, in accordance with the rules implemented in the company;

Identifying points for improvement in the area of food safety;

Complying with the food safety standards in force in the company.

Background and knowledge

For this role, we are looking for candidates with the following characteristics:

Bachelor's degree, preferable in Engineering

Experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational context

Fluent in English

Computer skills

Good team management skills

Customer orientation

Analytical skills

Focus on continuous improvement
